AL1CE is a genre-bending fusion of electronic dance, dark wave, and rock, creating a dreamlike and cathartic world of surreal imagery, emotional intensity, and transformative storytelling.

The band's modern chapter began in 2020 during a formative songwriting retreat in Joshua Tree, where the seeds of their album “As Above, So Below” took shape. AL1CE's songwriting stemmed from organic jamming as a 4-piece, and the band produced the music that would fill the double album to come. When the world shut down weeks later, AL1CE pivoted into immersive livestreams that sparked the Mad Hatter Army, their wonderful community of supporters. The band put together a full series of virtual tours that included artists from around the world to help with fundraisers to support venues and other artists, with the intention of helping to bring people together in that tumultuous time.

In 2025, AL1CE released their ambitious double album “As Above, So Below” following a highly successful Kickstarter, offering exclusive physical art and limited-run vinyls. Because of the support from their Kickstarter, the band was able to collaborate with several highly acclaimed artists, producing more evolved visual art in line with their vision of the “As Above, So Below” universe.

On the road AL1CE has performed on many festival stages such as Dark Force Fest, Fixation Fest, Shady Grove, Absolution Fest, Mechanismus, Wasteland Weekend, and New Mexico Goth Fest, and shared bills with incredible bands such as Urban Heat, NITE, Male Tears, Stabbing Westward, and Assemblage 23. As an independent band, AL1CE has been consistently touring across North America since 2016 with a deeply embedded DIY ethos that has been foundational in their love of the live music world. With over 400 shows played, the band looks forward to forging ahead with new music and shows in 2027.
